The story of a company that made plastic an enduring attraction.
This survey covers the entire history of the company, decade by decade, exploring all aspects of its evolution as well as the social and technological qualities of Kartell products. Also incled is an interview with Claio Luti, owner and President of Kartell for more than 20 years and architect of the new boom. But most of all the objects themselves—in historical shots, ads, displays, and many photos especially made for this publication, with detailed captions on the technological innovations behind the design—tell the story of a company that brought us the culture of plastics.
